Visit City Palace and S.M.S. II Museum situated in the heart of the old city. The palace is a blend of Rajput and Mughal architecture. It houses a seven storied Chandra Mahal that offers a fine view of gardens and the city, Diwan-E-Khas a marble pawed gallery and Mubarak Mahal having a rich collection of costumes and textiles.
Visit Central Museum founded in 1876 by Prince Albert to see a rare collection of archaeological and handicraft pieces. The museum is situated in the Ram Niwas Garden.
To take a breathtaking view of Jaipur city, go to Ishwar Lat: ‘Swrg Suli’ / ‘heaven piercing minaret’, the tower, near Tripolia gate.

Visit Jaigarh fort to see worlds biggest cannon on wheels – the Jai Ban.
Cresting a hill approx. 600 ft. above the city is Nahargarh fort built in 1734. The walls of the fort run along the ridge and within are architectural beauties like Hawa Mandir and Madhvendra Bhavan.
Visit Galta, a holy pilgrimage centre having a temple dedicated to the Sun God and natural spring. It crests the ridge over a picturesque gorge and offers an impressive view of the Jaipur city.
Situated just below the Motidoongari is Laxmi Narayan Temple (Birla temple) famous for its intricate marble carvings in white marble.
On the road to Agra is Sisodia Rani Garden, a magnificent palace garden built by Maharaja Sawai Jai SIngh II in 1710 for his queen. Also, pay a visit to Vidhyadhar Vrindavan, a beautiful terraced garden having several galleries and pavilions decorated with exquisite murals, depicting Lord Krishna.
Visit Kanak Vrindavan; enjoy its beautiful garden. This is a popular picnic place and a location for film shooting.
Standing atop a range of craggy hills is Amer Fort, remarkable for the majestic grandeur of its surroundings as for its sturdy battlements and beautiful palaces. Amer is a fine blend of Hindu and Muslim architecture. The solemn dignity of its red sandstone and white marble pavilions, when reflected in the lake at the foothill, is a sight to behold.
Throughout the massive fort, finely carved lattice windows, exquisitely painted doorways, halls and finely sculptured pillars crave for attention.
